Hi all,
In Georgia, I had not found any lboxes with ink pads until last
weekend. In the Squirrel in the Mailbox, I found 4 ink pads! I usually
don't plant ink pads in my boxes either. Actually, I don't use ink
pads anymore. I take a collection of Crayola markers and use those
instead. I find that they are better for catching details in the
stamp. I owe Ryan C. for that bit of wisdom.
Have a good one,
Mark

I prefer to ink my own colors onto a stamp.
Sometimes the "owner" of the box will include an ink pad because they
think the stamp image should be THAT color.
When I place a box, I will stamp the image into the log book the way
that I prefer it, but I leave it up to the individual letterboxer to
bring his/her own colors of ink with him/her--my stamp image is just
a suggestion. Individual interpretation is encouraged!!
